Getting a marathon place is exciting. And then the questions start.
December feels far away. But it's closer than you think. And the weeks between now and then are more valuable than most runners realise.
Without structure and guidance, it's easy to either overdo it and arrive at the start of your training plan tired, or underdo it and start from scratch when it begins.
The Spring Marathon Project is designed to help you during this phase.
Eight weeks of structured group coaching that builds your running base, establishes consistency and prepares your body and mind for the months of training ahead.
So when December arrives, you're not scrambling to catch up or already feeling exhausted. You're exactly where you need to be: strong, healthy and excited to begin your marathon plan.

About Lorna
I'm Lorna, the person behind Run with Lorna. I'm a UESCA-certified running coach and qualified England Athletics run leader.
I've completed 38 marathons and ultramarathons, including Good for Age places at both London and Chicago. But more than the races, what drives me is helping other runners experience that shift from seeing running as a means to get fit to something you love and that becomes part of who you are.
I went through a period where I couldn't run at all. Getting back to it taught me more about building a running base than any training plan ever could. This experience is at the heart of everything I coach.
The Spring Marathon Project is built on what I know works for runners who want to show up to their marathon training plan ready to give it their best.
